In the midst of Indonesia’s preparation to produce a competitive labor in an era of MEA, the case of selling diplomas precisely widely heard. More recently The minister of Kemristekdikti, M. Natsir terminate Yayasan Aldiana because they are doing the practice of buying and selling diplomas.
“The foundation has a large number of graduates and from all over Indonesia. Conditions for PTS is a report a month before graduation and this foundation does not do it, other than that the hours are also less,” said Nasir told reporters after speaking at a national seminar Indonesian Economists Association in the UMB campus, Meruya, West Jakarta, Tuesday (09/22/2015).
Nasir will act firmly against colleges that practice selling fake diplomas. “If it happens (fraud) PT will be terminated. If the problem is about the academic, still be fostered,” he said.
Unfortunately, Nasir did not mention other universities in Indonesia who are suspected of selling fake diploma practice. The Ministry will improve the control mechanisms of coordination Colleges (Kopertis) which will change its name to the Institute of Higher Education Service (LLPT).
Later LLPT will monitor private colleges online to avoid the practice of selling fake diplomas. “With LLPT forward this kind of thing can be avoided. Do it online, so it can monitor all the time,” said Natsir.
