Jakarta – In accordance with the mandate of Law Number 20 Year 2013 on Medical Education, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemristekdikti, MRTHE) will open the study program of Primary Physician Services (DLP) in cooperation with the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes, MH). According to the plan, this course will be opened on 1 September 2016.
After finishing the Coordination Meeting Study Program Opening Primary Physician Services with the Ministry of Health, professional organizations, and rector of several public and private universities from across Indonesia on Thursday in Building D Senayan 3rd Floor (16/6). Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Dr. Mohamad Nasir said that the Primary Service is a program of study submitted by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
“To meet the needs of primary care at the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Health submitted an application to Kemristekdikti for delivering education DLP with a minimum of two years of study time. Which can be held is the Faculty of Medicine at the College of Public and Private accredited A “, he said.
Coordination Meeting of Study Program Opening Primary Physician Services is to discuss cooperation between stakeholders in relation to the regulation and the readiness of the university to open the DLP studies program. Nasir asserted three important points that need to be done, namely the dissemination to relevant parties DLP, facilitating cooperation by universities through the Faculty of Medicine and professional organizations to oversee the quality of the learning process in the university, and to encourage and increase participation in the framework of the implementation of this course ,
Study program of Primary Physician Services is a continuation of the medical education program that is equivalent to the profession of medicine specialist program. “The education provided is intended to improve the competence of doctors to be able to educate and advocate for the community through socialization provided the DLP to the family, so that disease prevention can be done early,” said Health Minister Nila F. Moeloek. As for some of the university declared its readiness to open this study program is the Universitas Gadjah Mada, University of Indonesia, Airlangga University, and the University of Padjadjaran.
